The Only Math We Actually Use
Share
Remember when your 9th-grade algebra teacher said you wouldn’t always have a calculator in your pocket? They were wrong about the calculator, but right about one thing: life is just a series of circles.
At Cloud 16, we aren't big on formulas, unless it’s the ratio of hops to water or the perfect blend of cotton and polyester in our Comfort Colors blanks.
Pi Day is usually for the "extra credit" crowd, but for the Hose Water Generation, circles mean something else. They mean the ring left on a coaster at Scrappy Malone’s. They mean the 360-degree view from Mile Marker 16 on Pikes Peak. They mean the circular logic of trying to explain to a Gen Z kid why we used to "rewind" things.
Instead of doing math today, we suggest a different kind of calculation: How many miles can you put between yourself and your office before the sun goes down?
Take the Detour. It’s the only variable that matters.
