Our brand started with a little bit of bad luck and a lot of perspective. While honeymooning in Colorado, we tried to summit Pikes Peak. We didn't have a reservation for the top (Mile Marker 17), so we had to stop at Mile Marker 16.
Standing there, looking out at the world, we realized that being one mile "short" was actually pretty perfect. We weren't on Cloud 9; we were on Cloud 16. We brought that sense of adventure and "embrace the detour" energy back home to the Florida Gulf Coast, and it’s baked into every design we create.
